While it has been less than a substantial winter, in terms of temperature and snowfall in the Western U.P., we do have enough snow for skiing, snowshoeing, etc. As a result, the local Nordic areas are chock full of folks that have traveled from downstate, where there is zero snow. We enjoy them spending money here and helping our local economy (and enjoying our beauty), troll jokes aside. My last day with Aiden, my 8 year old grandson. We completed both the cliffs and wolverine trails this morning on the skiis and will visit little girls point this afternoon to take a hike along Lake Superior. Hope to look at the moon tonight with the telescope Papa gave him for Xmas, as it is our first cloudless night since he has been here.
