“The world is quiet here.”
― Lemony Snicket
Unable to sleep past 0300 this morning, so on to my first cup of coffee and the gym after reading the news.. I know one other that will be up soon, as is her habit. While it is always quiet here, other than the natural sounds of wind or wildlife, the early morning hours are peaceful. For some, it is their only alone time, as other family members or jobs take the rest of their day. A busy day planned if the weather and chance of rain cooperate. I need to begin taking down the gardens and sight in the crossbow for my son who will arrive on 10/2 for deer hunting. He plans on arriving around 3PM from the airport at Minneapolis and will go right to his deer blind on the back of our property in the woods. Everything will be ready for him other than good luck, which his father has no control over.
Sunday’s weather forecast calls for good light and the opportunity to reward hard work today with time behind the cameras tomorrow….perhaps a road trip for the day. I need to order some 4x5 Kodak Portra 400 for the Harman Titan Pinhole camera to capture the special Fall colors when Eric and I hit the Keweenaw, assuming he bags his buck in time for us to do so before he has to head back to California.
Have a stellar weekend…
