My use of the current Polaroid Originals (Impossible Project) Color Film has been fraught with intermittent quality control issues. On the current trip to California, up to 40 percent of exposures demonstrated opacification errors (blue streaks), even though a film shield was used. Very disappointing, but I have experienced quality control issues since the beginning with Impossible Project color film. The black and white film, on the other hand, has not only performed consistently, but also develops much faster. Next time traveling, that will be my choice.
Point Reyes National Seashore was the closest thing to home (sans the Pacific Ocean, although Lake Superior appears ocean-lie). The ride to the Pacific from the freeway, almost immediately turns into a very different terrain, with many turn of the century cattle farms, lakes, and superb flora and fauna. Highly recommended if you are visiting this area.
