The abandoned homestead I have been exploring continues to produce relics and oddities. There must be at least a half dozen outbuildings in various stages of decay holding a large amount of interesting detritus. Gave the Hasselblad a day off and shot with the Rolleicord-definitely the most fun camera for me to use. Reminds me of a tiny view camera, as in addition to focusing on the ground glass, you also have to cock the shutter after setting your f stop and shutter speed. With Fomapan 100 and a slightly overcast day, most exposures run about 1/30th second at F/11.
“A lot of photographers think that if they buy a better camera they’ll be able to take better photographs. A better camera won’t do a thing for you if you don’t have anything in your head or in your heart.”
– Arnold Newman
