My friend’s new acquisition, a Yashica Mat 124G with F/3.5 80mm Yashinon turned out to be a stellar purchase on Ebay. The lens renders plenty of contrast and detail, and in my opinion, is sharper than the Rolleiflex T with 3.5 75mm Tessar I used to own. The build of the camera is very robust and all the controls work easily. While the focusing screen would be best to be updated to a Maxwell Hi Lux screen, the stock screen is significantly brighter than those that came with My Rolleiflex T and Rolleicord Vb. This will be wonderful tool for making fine art.
