Albeit there are more chores to do around Rauhallinen Farm than the weekend provides me with hours, I am always content to see Saturday and Sunday, as they present an opportunity for mindfulness and hopefully, the chance to get behind the lens. Tomorrow will be roof shoveling, where more than three feet of snow sit on top of my addition (recreation room), and snow blowing four foot drifts out of the driveway. I have a roll of Fomapan 100 in the Hasselblad and just received a five pack ot Tri-X in the mail, so I will have distraction from chore city. The nature of living alone on in the Northwoods. I am not complaining, as this is an idyllic spot.
“I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.”
