Even though the Rolleicord Vb did not space negatives correctly when I got it back from service, I did manage to get nine exposures off a roll of Tri-X. If I was not so fond of the Schneider Xenar lens, a four element Tessar design, in addition to the light weight, I think I would consider letting her go on Ebay. At this point, I have way to much invested in the CLA and new bright focusing screen, so she and I are in it for the long run. So back for repair she goes again. My best friend, who is returning to film, is experiencing the plight I did after going digital for seven years-the misfortune of having to re-purchase gear. She is looking to grab a nice Epson 4990 film scanner, which will do her very well for film, and for scanning Polaroid XX-70 prints. My V750 has been a real workhouse without any issues during scan after scan for years. Especially wonderful for 4x5 negatives, which come out breathtakingly sharp.
