Having MLK day off, I visited the Keweenaw Peninsula with both the Hasselblad and Intrepid 4x5. When first setting up the Intrepid with the 150 Nikkor, I noticed that the shutter speeds slower than 1/4 second sounded way too slow. Off with the Copal 0 shutter to Paul Ebel, who is expecting it after I emailed him from the road. Otherwise, it was a brisk day and using the Hasselblad at some favorite haunts was better than being at work. Will test out the Intrepid next weekend with other lenses, just to make sure that the focus is on and that there are no light leaks.
“Love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused.”
