Heading into my 67th year, with three quarters of it or more with a camera and passion for making images. I have come close a few times to buying my first camera off Ebay for sentimental reasons….a Kodak Brownie Starmite that shoots 127 film, which Ilford still produces in limited quantities. My first subjects were Midnight and Blue, our black and tan coon hounds when I was five. Still have a dog and have owned so many cameras I have lost track. Shooting medium and large format exclusively for decades, as 35mm negatives are just too small to provide the detail I seek.
New Years resolutions:
Continue to refine my vision and manage the other extraneous variables in my life to allow for its expression.
Maintain my health and push the limits physically to allow for continued adventures.
Open a store for prints and cards on this website.
Publish two more books (Holga and Polaroid Portfolios).
Meet my new granddaughter, Rose..
Us…as to whatever that may turn out to be.
“Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don't resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

Not Stoughton Opera House….but a reasonable facsimile thereof…..(same guitar too, but both Martin and I are a bit older….)
