Today is MY day to hit the road and cruise for snaps. Worked all day at the farm yesterday to have this opportunity today. If the light is poor (too sunny) I will scout for shots to be taken in better light. As M-28 is still closed, I will take US2 to Watersmeet (where we got garbage bags for our backpacks as rain covers that Fall backpacking in Sylvania Wilderness) and then US45 to Bruce Crossing, then back on M28 to various locations. Difficult for me to be so close to my friend's cabin, who died last year of cancer. Tom would be working on the interior of the cabin today, or making wood. I saw many Holga opportunities on the trail down to Agate Falls two weeks ago and will see if the light will cooperate. The plastic fantastic is loaded with a roll of my usual Ilford Pan F which I shoot by counting off two seconds (one if Sunny). This is on bulb setting and the smaller aperture of the two available on the Holga. Through much past experimentation, I know this works for the nearly grainless ASA 50 Pan F. Wishing you a restful Sunday and hope perhaps you can get behind a lens or two. The RAV4 is loaded along with 4x5 film holders (and plenty of 120 in color and black and white)-time to go crusin' for snaps, as Mr. Picker used to say before jumping in his Volvo.
"The woods are lovely, dark and deep. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep."
