I have been slowly redesigning this website to be more commensurate with the main themes of my decades in film photography. I have kept the videography section as the only remaining digital work, as it still pleases me (and making them was significant in driving, shooting, and editing). I have added a gallery for just Rollei things. My color chemistry will arrive on Monday, so I will expose a couple of rolls of Kodak Portra 160 in the Rolleiflex 3.5F this weekend and give the color development a whirl next week. I have watched many youtube videos and am convinced it is no more difficult than black and white film development, with the exception of high temperatures that must be monitored. Should be fun and I would like to have the option for color with some subjects. I am fond of Porta for its subtle approach to color, unlike Fuji Velvia E6 film, which is an in your face bit of saturation.
“Lost love is still love. It takes a different form, that's all. You can't see their smile or bring them food or tousle their hair or move them around a dance floor. But when those senses weaken another heightens. Memory. Memory becomes your partner. You nurture it. You hold it. You dance with it.”
