It was somewhat of an expensive morning for me photographing today. I managed to get the SX-70 Sonar caught on the webbing of my backpack when I was removing it and the viewfinder flipped up and broke. The icing on the cake is that I cannot find my Holga anywhere around the house and don’t remember taking it this morning. Hmmmmm. The Polaroid will go in to Roger Garrell for repair and reskinning. Two prints were keepers and I also exposed one roll of color (portra 160) and a roll of black and white with the Rollei 3.5 F (Foma 100, which I am testing in Rodinal). All part of photographing-things break, get lost, and the like.
On a brighter note, I tried a new recipe for ultra low carb pizza in which the crust is made with two cups of finely shredded cauliflower, two eggs, and two cups of Mozarella. Very delicious and healthy with no grains. Here is a video demonstrating making it. Note-the crust must be made as thin as possible for the to get crispy. Also, not shown in this video is the fact that you should steam the cauliflower before grating and then use a cheese cloth to squeeze the moisture out. This is important for a crispy crust.
