Sunday provided a splendid opportunity for good light and I took advantage of it by taking a road trip for most of the day. Began on the middle branch of the ontonagon river, near bond falls, and also visiting agate falls, jumbo falls on the jumbo river, and union river in the porcupine mountains. Driving in the western upper peninsula is awe inspiring, relaxing, and a perfect way to reward oneself for a week of work.
I love to shoot trees with the Holga, especially primordial looking ones like above. They would make a nice subject for a portfolio.....someday.
I don't need a day to celebrate as world photography day. As a photographer for me every day is photography day.”
