I find that even a week without shooting can dull the senses and make me more prone to error. Tomorrow will require a 30 mile detour, as M-28 is closed just outside of Wakefield all summer, due to replacing the bridge on Jackson Creek. Looking to visit the middle branch of the Ontonagon and Agate Falls, Jumbo Falls on the Jumbo River (within a mile from Tom's cabin that Sharon in finishing), and Sturgeon River Gorge, if time permits. A thunderstorm is predicted for late morning, but otherwise the light should be perfect for black and white work. The Sturgeon River area will have tourists, but if you are willing to climb down into the gorge, there will be little to no company.
