I picked up this Fujinon 150 last year and never really used it till this weekend. The f/9 150 Schneider G-Claron is tack sharp, but a bear to focus. F/5.6 is two F stops brighter and easier for these old peepers to compose with on the ground glass. Due to all the Rolleiflex cameras being in for CLA, I am shooting large format exclusively until the first of them returns (likely the 3.5F from Paul Ebel). Large format requires more concentration from me and slowing down the pace of everything. The results when scanned on the Epson V750 are eye popping compared to medium format. The trade off is weight, price, and setup and take down time. Everything has a price.
"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it." Steve Jobs
