I am continuing to work most evenings on readying a new book of black and white Holga prints for printing this fall. It will be titled "In That Moment-A Holga Retrospective" One of the more difficult tasks when putting together a photo book is deciding which prints stay and which go. I have no shortage of both recent and past negatives to work with and plan on a bit of both, dating back to my first few rolls. I can say with temerity that I am not fond of the desktop publishing aspects of bookmaking-I find it tedious, excessively long, and mundane-would much rather be making art with the camera in a live sense. Eric and Genevieve are headed to Hawaii to be married on the beach, then they will visit me mid to late August so I can meet her and introduce her to both the Northwoods and Rauhallinen Farm.
