I have been so enamored with the recently acquired Rolleicord, Rolleiflex 3.5T, and Rolleiflex 3.5F that I have neglected to shoot large format for quite some time. This exposure at F/256 (the size of the pinhole) was two and a half minutes in duration. Because some tourists arrived (and of course were walking right into the shot), I just covered the lens, stopped the timer on my phone, and waited them out, ultimately finishing the last 45 seconds without issue. If someone walked fairly quickly through a long exposure like this, you would likely not even see them in the print. I think the longest exposure I have made on 400 speed Ilford HP5+ was 45 minutes in very low light. I won't use FP4+ in the pinhole as I would have time to finish a book while waiting. Going to get the Chamonix 4x5 out this coming weekend and take it when I camp with the boys during August. I would like to take some large format outdoor portraits of them both.
