If you read and enjoyed The Glass Castle, by Jeanette Walls, you will likely find the new autobiographical release by Tara Westover a superb read. Educated-A Memoir, recounts the childhood and young adult life of Ms. Westover, who was raised in rural Idaho in a strict and unconventional Mormon family. Ms. Westover's family did not put their children in public schools, allow them to see doctors, or even get them birth certificates. Her father ran his junkyard and made a living by "scrapping." In this sad but memorable tale, she overcomes tremendous burden to achieve a Ph.D in history from Cambridge. Highly recommended reading.
