After three days of intermittent rain and hot humid conditions, the perennials have doubled in size. Of course, so have the weeds that need pulling and grass that needs cutting. Finished the string trimming this evening after work, which is part one. Hope to get out with a camera or two this weekend at least once. M-28 is closed at Jackson Creek from now until late September, which will add a 30 mile detour to photography or fishing in that direction.
"The more you photograph, the more you realize what can and what can't be photographed. You just have to keep doing it." Eliot Porter
I have learned this over the years and can by memory, produce a list of objects that I have photographed over and over, never achieving a satisfactory negative...finally having the sense to give the whole enterprise up.
