Antoinette, my oldest daughter (40) and her husband Greg, in addition to my son, Eric, flew out from California for the holiday weekend. They wanted to see their grandmother who is 94 and doing poorly with COPD (on oxy full time). Eric had good news-the new baby is due around Thanksgiving and will be a girl. Genevieve could not come as this is the busy time for her budget work in the state government (she is an analyst). Was nice to see everyone, but miserably hot. Benny and I left at 0400 and made it home by 1230, bringing back annuals for the 16 pots outside from Varners. In addition to a couple of polaroids, I shot a roll of Tri-X at Notre Dame with the Rolleiflex. Toni and I enjoyed our walk and conversation in spite of the heat and humidity.
