Saturday evening just before 8PM and a tired one-armed gardener is enjoying a glass of wine and grilling a steak. Only three more perennial beds left to clean and weed and the front lawn to cut and trim (back was done today). Thursday will be a post surgery appointment at Mayo Clinic to see if the shoulder replacement has stayed in place and get the green light to begin physical therapy.
Bloodroot and Trout Lily are the first of the wildflowers to bloom in May here at Rauhallinen Farm. Looking at my journal from last year, it appears things are a week later.
I will sleep well tonight.....
