We ended up with near three feet of snow after all-later than expected. Already having two feet left on the ground, Spring is going to be a huge mess and entail some raging rivers and flooding. My home is uphill from Spring Creek so that will not be and issue for me. The Ironwood and Hurley residents who live next to the Montreal River may need to sandbag this year. First day back at work and it is nice to see my patients again, many whom have become like family for the past eight years. While I have a percentage of folks that are short-term and solution focused in nature, the bulk of my caseload consists of patients with PTSD, which of course is not ameliorated with a brief intervention. I have two PTSD groups, one for veterans from the Gulf War and after (OEF/OIF Iraq and Afghanistan vets) and the other for Vietnam veterans. These men are wonderful to work with and are very supportive of each other. To have work that you love makes it not work.
