Sunday evening at Rauhallinen Farm and just got back from a friend’s Sauna and romp in the snow. Time for a hot shower and to post process more film from Saturday and Sunday. The above shot was taken with the Rolleicord Vb today while snowshoeing on the Wolverine Nordic Ski Area snowshoe trails. I did the hospital loop which normally takes me three hours, including time for setting up shots. Not a flat bit of land on any of the trails-straight up and down the whole way. no need to hit the gym today. The Rolleicord has a new Bill Maxwell Hi Lux screen in it which makes what was once a very dim view, as bright as the Hasselblad Acute Matte Screen. In both the shade and sunlight, my eyes were thankful. The Vb is the only Rolleicord that has a removable focusing screen (like the Rolleiflex F models), which makes changing it, like the Hasselblad, a snap. I shot a roll of color today with the Hasselblad, primarily at the East branch of the Montreal River, but I will develop that tomorrow night, as two rolls of black and white are enough for one day. Still scanning on the Epson V750. Where did the weekend go?
