Each winter, I wait for this old barn down the road to collapse under the weight of the snow, but somehow, it is still upright. There are a myriad of left things inside, as the owner either died or was placed in care somewhere a few years back. I am never fond of the Christmas Hoopla and excessive consumerism that it encourages, but I do look forward to having my grandsons for their Xmas break. The youngest, Nolan, will be old enough to cross country ski this year, while his older brother, Aiden, has been proficient at it for some time. Papa will have a chance to test out his new shoulder. Their guardian and grandmother will be traveling to California to see their new cousin, Rose.
Listening to some Nick Drake, having a glass of before dinner wine, and cooking a large Cauliflower Crust Pizza for the office Christmas Potluck tomorrow. Much healthier and tastier than regular pizza.
