Instead of sitting here in a warm farmhouse, I need to get my rear out to snowblow a foot of fluffy snow off the drive, snow scoop the patio, and roof rake the addition and front porch. Another foot of snow yesterday and this evening, which will mean that X-Country Ski grooming can take place and our two primary areas can open (ABR and Wolverine Nordic Ski Areas). I prefer Wolverine due to the closeness to home, lack of crowds, and challenging hills. I will however, remember this screwed and glued together shoulder, and not take any foolish chances (walking down the dangerous hills with dogleg curves and icy spots). My grandson, Aiden, is a real daredevil on this course and will be patiently waiting for Papa to show up.
