My younger brother, Karl, has been here at Rauhallinin Farm since Friday and will stay through Sunday. We photographed at Houghton Falls Nature Preserve outside of Washburn, WI, in addition to Lost Creek Falls, outside of Cornucopia, WI. He had never been up the coast to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands area so it was a treat for him. Partially cloudy skies and reasonable temps in the 20’s made for nice exposures and a number of miles of good hiking. My brother shoots digital exclusively and I film, so we work at different speeds (but he was a good sport about waiting).
“I’ve dreamed a lot. I’m tired now from dreaming but not tired of dreaming. No one tires of dreaming, because to dream is to forget, and forgetting does not weigh on us, it is a dreamless sleep throughout which we remain awake. In dreams I have achieved everything.”
