A slushy weather day in the Western UP. Light snow melted before it hit the ground and about half of our snow cover is gone (about 7 inches left). My brother and I will hit some local spots on the Presque Isle and Black Rivers, in addition to the Bad River (Copper Falls State Park in Mellen, WI tomorrow. Light should be OK until early afternoon when there will likely be too much sun for good image making. In thinking of the photograph above, the last time I photographed here with a Rollei, there were a couple of pigs on the other side of the fence. I suspect they are now in the farmer’s freezer.
