Finally Friday and an extra bonus of warmer weather. The 30 degree temps will be a gift to photograph and travel in. Haven't decided where Benny and I will venture yet. Looking forward to coming home on Sunday and trying a new (for me) process with a very old high accutance developer-Rodinal, that used to be made by Agfa. The process is called stand or partial stand development and basically involves using a highly diluted concentration (1/100) of developer to water and a long development time with little (partial) or no agitation. For example, I will start with fifteen seconds of agitation with Ilford Pan F, then basically let it sit in the development tank for one hour. The process produces negatives of very high accutance and exceptional sharpness wherever there is an edge. Experimentation will be required to establish the correct times, but it seems from other's experiences, one hour will be a good place to start with Pan F rated at ASA 50.
