When it is too cold or otherwise externally hostile towards film photography, it is fun to take a walk in Dan's Antiques and fulfill the creative urge with the IPhone. With two cavernous floors of antiques, junk, and varied accoutrements, there are many subjects.
A high of 9F today, which I can work in, light permitting. Leisurely sipping coffee and thinking of heading up the coast from Ashland, WI, around the Chequamegon Bay-first to stop at Chequamegon Books, then wander up towards Bayfield and beyond, "cruisin' for snaps." Brings to mind those days ago, sitting in the now defunct Borders Books, with coffee and conversation....then our ride somewhere with eyes looking for subjects, toting Hasselblads, Holgas, Isolettes, Olympus RC's, and who knows what else, all eagerly waiting for a shutter release to emulate to taker's vision.
