Back at Rauhallinen Farm after two back to back nine hour drives. At my age, a couch sleep in not restful, so my ass is dragging this evening. Glad the boys are home safe and that everything was as we left it here, save more bear shit at my deer feed pile. Our game camera lost the infrared night ability so Eric is sending a replacement that will arrive Tuesday. Then I will be able to capture the sow, cubs, or boar (or combination) that is filching my feed. When the boys saw the bear shit, they were not interested in hiking the woods path without papa :-).
Much time to get lost in cognitive forays while driving and I happened upon some interesting thoughts regarding photography and creativity for a future post.
“What is that feeling when you're driving away from people and they recede on the plain till you see their specks dispersing? - it's the too-huge world vaulting us, and it's good-bye. But we lean forward to the next crazy venture beneath the skies.”
