Finally a break in the hot and humid weather here in the Western Upper Peninsula. I am enjoying having a glass of wine on the patio and hoping for the much needed rain to restore my gardens and lawn. Chance for it tomorrow, but as long as I have lived here, just a few miles south of Lake Superior, I have learned the hard way, not to believe weather forecasts for our area until the day of the prediction is actually underway. This is especially critical when fishing on Lake Superior. I am debating weather to go out and pick some wild Monarda and Tansy for studio work, drive to Lake Superior to test the new Ilfrod Harman Titan 4x5 Pinhole, or have a second glass of wine and just say fuck it for this evening and relax here watching Mr. B patrol his acre of perennial gardens for dreaded red squirrels, chipmuncks, or birds, who might have the audacity to encroach upon a Schnauzer's turf....then out for our daily 3 mile walk around the country block. I think I have decided on the later...Come sit with me.
“So for now,
I will miss you like I’ll never see you again,
And the next time I see you,
I will kiss you like I’ll never kiss you again,
And when I fall asleep beside you
I will fall asleep as if I’ll never wake up again,
because I don’t know if I will.
I don’t know if I will.
- I Will Love You Like The World Is Ending”
