Glad for the weekend, but I have much to do in terms of yardwork after being gone to Rochester for two days. My goal is to work from early morning to dusk and get both yards cut and all the gardens weeded-then reward myself with a day on the road with all of the cameras, including the 8x10. The dog and I are getting ready to hit the hay. Near finishing "Seven Years in Tibet" which was written in the early 50's and made into a movie a number of years back with Brad Pitt as the main character. A great adventure book (and movie) with opportunity to learn about the current Dali Lama as a young child.
You kissed me that morning as if you’d never done it before and never would again and now I write another letter that I will never dare to send, collecting memories of loss
like chains wrapped around my veins,
and if you see a fire from the shore tonight
it’s my chains going up in flames.
The time of moon is quite glorious.
We could have been so glorious.”
