Miss these fellows already. They are excited about anything outdoors so their time here at the farm is always an adventure for them. Aiden was enthused plinking with his pellet rifle and bow & arrow. His little brother, Nolan is always happy to tag along. It always breaks my heart when they have to go.

I am near half way through The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers. I had started it a number of years ago and for whatever reason never finished it. Finding the characters fascinating and am amazed that she wrote this complex novel when she was in her early 20's. We all have our own special talents and callings. Sadly, many people never have that self discovery.

A broken heart I have more experience with than broken shoulders, unfortunately.

I find Polaroid 600 and SX-70 Color film very pleasing for soft skin tones in portraiture. It is very hard to take a bad shot of these too, but that is a very biased opinion...

"There are those who know and those who don't know. And for every ten thousand who don't know there's only one who knows. That's the miracle of all time – the fact that these millions know so much but don't know this."  Carson McCullers, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter
