Another BASS day (Big Ass Snow Storm). Difficult time getting home this evening, such that I am headed out to take the first effort on the drive and will then get out there at 0500 and do it again, as it is to come down and drift into tomorrow. Back to a real U.P. winter. I am planning on returning to Bond Falls to retake this shot with the 8x10 this summer, The reeds undulate sensually in the current of the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon and are very ethereal. Weather permitting, I will take the Canon there this weekend to do a continuation of my annual winter river series. The ice formations change by the day and are always unique, season to season. It is only about 15 minutes from my friend's home (Tom), so I can stop and visit a bit. Must go tomorrow and buy a few more bales of Alfalfa for my deer. They are as much torment to Benny as they are entertainment to me when they eat in the back yard at the end of the drive.
