0430 and I pop up like toast out of the toaster. Just a month ago it was light by 0500, Now nearing 0600 it is still dark. The Sundflowers, both Mexican (Tithonia) and Native are all over 9 feet tall, gesturing as a last middle finger up to the end of summer. Because of dicking around driving an entire day to find and buy the popup, I did not accomplish what I had on my plate for last weekend, so things are cut out for Saturday, weather permitting. The home above was next to the Sturgeon Point lighthouse, facing Lake Huron. Speaking of old homes (and I have always been a sucker for old stone homes), just caught this article on Pink Floyd's, David Gilmour (guitarist extraordinaire) and his wife, Polly, pissing off local residents with their building plans. Go for it David.
