Headed down to Appleton, WI, at 0600 on Saturday-about four hours south and east to purchase a 2009 Fleetwood Sedona Pop Up Camper. Being picky, finding one in my price range that was cared for by my standards took a few months. If the pictures are accurate, I will be hauling it home tomorrow. Another bucket list item to check off. Looking forward to being able to take the grandkids out to the Badlands, and Black Hills in South Dakota, then down to the Tetons in Wyoming next summer. Will also use the popup for local camping, so that I don't have to drive back home when I travel to the Keweenaw to photograph or out past Tom's to trout fish on the East Branch of the Ontonagon. While I still enjoy backpacking, I am getting a little old for general tent sleeping. Will be nice for cycling events as well and save motel fees. Will fit in the barn for winter storage. Weather looks marvelous for the weekend. Tom's neighbors invited me to a barbecue on Sunday, so I will likely work on the Cabin with him for a bit when he gets home from church and then have a meal there. Seems like every minute is always planned.
"I got into an argument with a girlfriend inside of a tent. That's a bad place for an argument, because then I tried to walk out and slammed the flap. How are you supposed to express your anger in this situation? Zipper it up really quick? ~Mitch Hedberg
