The boys want to go see fireworks this evening, so we will go to Wakefield for their show. A picnic get together at Butch and Jane's (Tom and Sharon's neighbors) tomorrow afternoon, at which there will be some other kids for them to play with. Will be taking them on a road trip up the west coast of Lake Superior, almost to the Canadian border on Thursday and Friday. Made a reservation in Grand Marais, Minnesota, probably one of the most photographed places around the big lake, due to the lighthouse, and craggy cliffs. The lodge has a pool and sauna, so everyone will be able to relax at the end of a long travel day. Lots of small villages along the lakeshore and historical sites for them to see, and of course, papa will have his cameras (funny that I put their mother and all the other kids through the same thing as they grew up-"No Dad, not another stop for pictures!" Deep fried Northern Pike, french fries, and baked beans for their dinner tonight. Aiden can eat more fish than me by twice. In a growing spurt.
