In the winter, my art requires more effort-snowshoes, inclement weather, etc. This time of the year through Fall, subjects are ubiquitous and diverse, both for use in the studio and in the natural world. I can barely keep up with the bloom in the studio, but nature is not going to wait. The purple Wild Iris should be blooming in a few weeks and I will be visiting my secret patch to harvest some subjects. They are such a delicate and ethereal flower.
