There were no words-no thoughts to hijack the present moment the exposure was visualized and captured. Not even the sting of biting flies on my back. Using a cheap plastic Holga with two F Stops, one shutter speed (1/100), and guess focusing accomodates mindfulness and creativity by minimizing the need for attention to technology. No LCD panel or myriad of buttons, bells, and whistles. Seeing and being in the present moment simultaneously always produces a nice negative, regardless of subject. This was the first roll of film in the Holga 120 Pan (6x12) and scanning this big fat exposure, which approaches the size of a 4x5 negative, gives you a lot to work with, for something that comes from a piece of plastic shit.
