A break from a lot of Polaroid SX-70 work for some digital. I purchased an "as new" copy of the 120 pan Holga which I will pick up at the post office tomorrow. Quite pricey on Ebay at 160 bucks, but they were rare to begin with and no longer made. A huge negative at twice the width of a normal Holga shot, giving six negatives per roll (instead of the usual twelve), thus the panorama designation. Look forward to shooting landscapes with it. Will perhaps someday have Randy at Holgamods do his modification which replaces the original lens with a Schneider 90mm Super Angulon f/8 large format lens and also adds a Telex rangefinder, both supplied by the buyer. Must remember when winding this beast to go to only odd numbers for appropriate film spacing. I am getting near back to having near a full arsenal of tools for my work. Nice to have choices in the creative process, as each tool produces its own treademark look. The new Frances Luke Accord CD, "Fluke" was delivered today. A very pleasant listen. I have included a cut on this post which is one of my favorites that I heard performed during a recent trip to the windy city.
The flower offered of itself
And eloquently spoke
In languages of rainbows
And secret silence...
