Noticed the Trillium beginning to bloom at various wetland woods on my way to the office this morning. Being by the lowland river area, I would bet they have been blooming by you for a number of weeks, as you are 2 to 3 weeks ahead of us in weather. A cold weekend ahead during which time I will have to move the 8 flats of annuals (cleomes and cosmos) and hanging plants from the garage to indoors to near a week, due to freezing temperatures. Typically I cannot safely put out the annuals in the perennial beds until nearJune.
