Looks like a solid weekend of chores, including repairing my garage door opener that broke in the winter by getting frozen and tearing out the control arm when I opened it, shoveling and raking sawdust and branches from 12 loggers cords of cut wood, etc, Perhaps a run out to Little Girls Point with the Polaroid on Sunday, but art will not be the main focus with all this crap to get done. Living alone on a farm has many benefits in terms of privacy, peace, and complete independence, but also limitations and periods of lonliness and loss of someone to share these duties and responsibilities with (as well as the beauty and joy). In the end,, I have not found anything after surviving cancer that really pushes my buttons, as most things I just roll with. My mother and her mother were like that. It is calming to face each day with acceptance. Have a good weekend.
