Looking forward to trying out the SX-70 and Impossible Project color and black/white film this weekend. Will experiment and figure out exposure values and see if it can be manipulated (the color film) by moving the emulsion around with a blunt object, like the old Polaroid Time Zero film could be. Also looking forward to learning the emulsion lift process with the BW film for transfer to watercolor paper. Creativity has always been a joy-producing thing in my life. Depression era large format photographer, Walker Evans used the SX-70 in his last years of life, and of course, the iconic Andy Worhol made it famous with his self portrait below:
After many years, Iggy Pop has released a new album this month with musician Josh Homme, titled "Post Pop Depression. Nice work from a legend of Motor City Rock in the 60's and 70's who remains creatively active.
