Took delivery of 12 cords (36 face cords) of 8 ft. logs today, delivered by a semi and pup trailer. Will get me through the rest of this year and most of next winter. The Husqvarna 450 Rancher chainsaw has been a reliable tool and will have her work cut out. I will start this weekend and thereafter do a bit each evening. Cut to 16 inches, loaded in the 4x8 utility trailer, driven to the woodshed that houses the Central Wood Bolier, and stacked. A good workout without the cost of the gym. One of the many things I enjoy about off the grid living, is knowing where your heat comes from and being a part of making that happen, sans being hostage to the LP gas company.
