Hungarian Falls is actually three different waterfalls on the Dover Creek, which eventually dumps into Torch Lake (which holds my often photographed Quncy Dredge #2). Other than leaf peeper season, it is generally a little visited place and I often will get a carry out lunch from the superb Lindell's in Lake Linden, put it in the backpack, and share a lunch with Benny while sitting in this spot. I have read and taken a nap here as well, as the noise of the water is very soporific. This shot was taken last weekend. Deer hunted in the bear swamp tonight and left without even seeing a squirrel. Will give it a try before dawn and at dusk again tomorrow. Nice to have the woodboiler humming again. To pull in the drive and see the wisp of woodsmoke leaving the stack on the woodshed is a nice welcome home to Rauhallinen Farm.
