How time moves on faster than we can think. Some days it seems like yesterday that I was making Polaroid SX-70 manipulations with material from Southwest Michigan, Chicago, New Orleans, and Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Blink again and no Polaroid Corporation, and as such, no SX-70 Fllm any longer. I think this print was a first gift to someone who remains dear. If this film was ever made again, I would buy a couple of SX-70 cameras off Ebay and as much film as I could fit in my freezer downstairs. It was a marvelous medium for artistic expression, in addition to Polaroid Type 59 Image Transfers made with my 4x5 view cameras. Busy weekend ahead with grouse hunting, time with friends, cutting 1.5 acres of lawn, and stacking numerous cords of firewood in the shed. Rejoined Snap Fitness and as the days become shorter and Benny and I cannot do our 3, 5, and 8 mile walks, I will be able to maintain physical fitness in the less desirable confines of a gym (Narcissist Haven).
Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
~William Shakespeare, Mid-Summer Night's Dream, 1595
