This excursion to the Sturgeon River Gorge on Sunday was successful in acquiring more material for a new project. The weather was cool, rocks dry enough to descend safely down into the gorge, and work was not impeded by the presence of others. There is only one person that I have been able to work behind the camera with and maintain concentration. I have been startled in the past by the approach of other people on occasion, as due to the roar of the water, you cannot hear when another climber is in route to the floor. Managed a self-portrait at the basin, something I have not done in a number of years. A good day for another personal reason as well....
"All days are nights to see till I see thee,
And nights bright days when dreams do show thee to me."
~William Shakespeare, "Sonnet XLIII"
