Worked the Sturgeon River Gorge and the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon, between rain and sun. In the winter, my favorite photographic season, there is prime light for days at a time. This time of the year, things change by the hour and I have made numerous 1.5 hour trips, only to find poor light upon arrival at the destination. I acquired some more shots for the next river videography project. I suspect within three more trips I will have the raw material I need to sit down and spend hours editing and putting the project together for YouTube. It is a cold 52F and I am ready to fire up the grill for some venison brats and sit in front of the warmth of the pellet stove.
