We don't have Spiderwort here in the Western U.P., at least none that I have found in five years. I stopped along the roadside on my way back from my daughter's graduation in Southwest Michigan and grabbed these, keeping them in water for the nine hour ride home to Rauhallinen Farm. Having raised them before, I know they multiply quickly and spread. They can be aggressive and crowd other plants out. Best in small clumps that are divided each year. If you are going to photograph them, either inside or out, pick a sunny bright day to collect them, as in any other type of light they close up (as seen below the flowers above).
