This is another early spring harbinger. Currently in full bloom along my roadsides. Late afternoon and evening, they close up as above. The leaves, do in fact, remind me of brook trout patterns. Planted two Cardinal Red Osier Dogwoods this evening and two more tomorrow, in addition to more apple trees (dwarf this time). I enjoy landscape design as much as photography, but unfortunately, there is no Photoshop for this endeavor and as such, no room for change (other than digging up, moving, etc.). Long week, glad to drink a beer, piss off the back porch with only my birds to offend, and take joy in this peaceful farm.
